Bridgette Canal is both a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. She has been passionate about advocacy and mental health awareness from a young age, and has always wanted to work in the field of mental health and rehabilitation counseling.
Ms. Bridgette is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Rehabilitation Association, American Counseling Association, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Hillsborough, and the Suncoast Mental Health Counselors Association. She has participated in the Hillsborough County Point-in-Time Count each year since 2011 sponsored by Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative (THHI)
