Since graduating with a dual-degree from the University of South Florida’s Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Program in 2017, Sara has spent time training and developing in both areas of her education. In utilizing her mental health skills, she has worked as an intensive in-home therapist, parent support counselor, and specialized in trauma-informed treatment approaches for youth and adolescents.
In her time focusing on vocational support, she started as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the Department of Education. Sara soon transitioned to working as an Employment Specialist and Vocational Evaluator after being inspired by the culture and passion of The Grow Group. Sara’s strength is finding a meaningful person-centered connection with her clients in order to support them through the dynamics of gainful employment, or in thoroughly measuring their skills and abilities as a member of our Vocational Evaluation team.
