Degree: B.A. in Psychology from USF - St. Petersburg; M.A. in rehabilitation and mental health counseling from USF.
Hobbies: Reading, going to baseball games, listening to music, spending time at the beach, and going to Disney World.
Shelby Nurse has been a disability advocate and educator since the age of six. As a person with a disability, Shelby has a strong desire to help those in her community reach their fullest potential. She has given more than 100 presentations on various topics related to disability, including self-determination, assistive technology, and inclusion. She also has experience in behavioral intervention case management as well as working with people with traumatic brain injuries.
